Artist Elaine Murphy

Elaine Murphy is an internationally acclaimed artist whose work has been widely collected across the USA, Europe, Mexico, and South America. A native of Dublin, Ireland, Elaine now calls beautiful Naples, Florida, home. She hails from a show business family, with her father, Mike Murphy, being one of Ireland's most respected radio and television hosts, an influence that shaped her creative journey.
Elaine began her artistic career as a fashion illustrator before studying fine art at the National College of Art and Design in Dublin. Over the course of three decades, she has seamlessly transitioned from fashion and jewelry design to abstract and figurative art, continuously expanding her creative pursuits.
In 2000, Elaine moved to Palm Desert, California, where she had the privilege of working closely with renowned abstract artist Jerome Gastaldi in his studio. This experience marked a pivotal moment in her artistic evolution, leading her to focus on large-format figurative and abstract paintings. One collector aptly described her style as “loose and fluid, with emotional overtones conveyed by elegant lines. The combination of abstraction and bold figurative lines converges to create truly unique expressions on canvas.”
A passionate animal lover, Elaine is also a dedicated supporter of animal protection charities, reflecting her deep commitment to causes that matter to her beyond the canvas.
