From a small glass workshop to one of the most renowned artistic glass studios in the world. Stanislaw Borowski (born in 1944 in Moutiers, France) laid the foundation for today’s Borowski Glass Manufacture for hand blown and hand-crafted glass. Initially, he created his own special ideas in a garage, using almost forgotten techniques for engraving on cameo glass, self-made tools, and new artistic concepts. His extraordinary pictures and sculptures soon received international acclaim, leading to exhibitions in Germany - including Kassel, Hamburg, and Düsseldorf -as well as in the USA, the Netherlands, and Japan.

In 1990, together with his two eldest sons, Pawel and Wiktor, founded the Glass studio Borowski. Since 1993, Pawel and Wiktor have taken over management. Pawel Borowski runs the artists’ studio and the glass manufacture, while Wiktor Borowski oversees the Glass studio Borowski.

Today, Borowski’s Glass manufacture for hand blown and hand-crafted glass utilizes almost all known techniques for hot and cold processing. This unique technical capability enables the artists to realize challenging visions and continuously develop new, experimental ideas.

Masterpieces created by Stanislaw, Pawel, and the youngest of the three Borowski brothers, Stani Jan, can be found in renowned galleries, collections, and museums worldwide- including the Corning Museum of Glass in New York State, considered the most important glass museum in the world. The colorful and vivid Borowski collections are distributed globally through selected exclusive shops and Borowski galleries.

Pawel Borowski is a versatile glass artist and head of Studio Borowski. In addition to creating his own individual masterpieces, he has been the seminal influence behind the development of the Art Objects collections, as well as design of the Studio Line and the Outdoor Object collections. As both artist and studio leader, Pawel plays a central role in shaping the artistic and technical direction of Borowski, bridging master craftmanship with innovative contemporary design.

Stani Jan Borowski is known for his distinctive and at the same time humorous art objects made of glass, wood, and metal. These materials and his expressive character define his creative signature. He contributes to the evolution of the studio while also pursing his own designs. Representing the youngest in the Borowski lineage, Stani continues to expand the language of contemporary glass art while honoring craftmanship and innovation that has defined Borowski for decades.
